Meet Dr Daniella Siciliano
Dr. Daniella Siciliano is a Clinical Psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience working with FND. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology, a Psychology Board of Australia-approved supervisor, and the Principal and Founder of The Stanhope Psychology Clinic. Daniella is deeply committed to supporting individuals with FND, dedicating her efforts to helping her clients navigate mind-body challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful recovery.
Daniella’s journey with FND began early in her career when she discovered a fascination with the connection between the mind and body. She describes her work with FND as solving a complex medical and psychological puzzle, piecing together various aspects of people’s lives to create tailored, effective treatment plans. This passion has driven her to become a strong advocate for advancing FND research and treatment, particularly for young people in Australia.
Working as an Administrator with the FND Clinician Network Facebook Group, Daniella plays a vital role in fostering a supportive community for clinicians working with FND. She regularly collaborates with healthcare professionals across Australia to share knowledge, promote best practices, and advance the understanding of FND treatment.
Daniella is skilled in a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Therapy, and mind-body rehabilitation. She has extensive experience addressing a variety of psychological difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, stress, chronic pain, and somatic symptoms. Her special clinical interest lies in treating FND, somatic symptoms, and chronic pain in children, adolescents, and young adults.
Daniella’s approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. She works hand-in-hand with her clients, guiding them to build resilience, embrace their strengths, and enhance their overall function. With a deep belief in their potential, she empowers her clients to overcome challenges and create a brighter, more fulfilling quality of life. Beyond her work with clients, Daniella is dedicated to uplifting the broader psychology and allied health community. She mentors clinicians, champions best practices, and fosters partnerships to deepen the understanding and treatment of FND, inspiring hope and progress for all.

Meet Elizabeth Pearson
Elizabeth Pearson is a highly experienced Physiotherapist, Health Coach and Yoga Therapist with over 30 years of expertise in empowering individuals to achieve sustainable well-being. She is a passionate advocate for holistic health, combining her extensive qualifications in physiotherapy, yoga therapy, rehab Pilates, and wellness coaching to help folks to take control of their own wellness, starting from just where they are!
Elizabeth’s journey in healthcare began with her Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy, which laid the foundation for her deep understanding of the human body and its intricate systems. Over the years, she expanded her expertise by earning a Diploma of Business Administration, a Professional Certificate of Wellness Coaching, a Graduate Certificate of Yoga Therapy, and certifications in Yoga Teaching, Ayurvedic Studies, and Pilates Instruction. This diverse skill set allows Elizabeth to offer a unique, integrative approach to health and wellness.
Elizabeth specialises in supporting individuals who face mental health challenges or neurological conditions, including Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). Her approach is rooted in mindfulness, movement, and empowerment, using evidence-based practices to help her clients build resilience and improve their quality of life. She believes in addressing the mind-body connection to create lasting, positive change.
Elizabeth serves as one of the Administrative Managers of the FND Clinician Network Facebook Group, where she actively cultivates a collaborative and supportive environment for clinicians specialising in FND. By working closely with healthcare professionals of all disciplines, she facilitates the exchange of knowledge, encourages the adoption of best practices, and contributes to the ongoing advancement of FND treatment and understanding.
Elizabeth’s philosophy centers on empowering women to take charge of their health and well-being. She combines the physical benefits of yoga and Pilates with the mental clarity of mindfulness and the strategic guidance of wellness coaching. Her compassionate and personalised approach ensures that each client feels supported and equipped to navigate their unique challenges.
